1. Parenthtical remarks (however relevant) are unnecessary.
2. Don't bother using a foreign word when there is an English quid pro quo.
3. Exaggeration is a billion times worse than understatement.
4. Always avoid alliteration.
5. One should never generalise.
6. No sentence fragments. Ever.
7. Be more or less specific.
8. Don't be redundant; don't use more words than necessary; it's highly superfluous.
9. Don't overuse exclamation marks!!
